My work in executive leadership sits within organisations where governance, risk, and sustainability are closely connected. Over time, I have found that the quality of leadership is often reflected in the strength of systems, the clarity of decision-making, and the ability of an organisation to sustain performance beyond immediate results. What This Work Involves

In my current role as Executive Director and Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer at Oando Plc, I oversee corporate governance, compliance, corporate services, and sustainability strategy.

This work involves ensuring that structures are in place to support accountability, that risks are properly understood and managed, and that decisions are aligned with both immediate priorities and long-term impact.

It also requires working across teams, functions, and leadership levels to ensure that strategy is not just defined, but properly embedded into how the organisation operates.

I approach leadership with a strong sense of stewardship. This means paying attention not only to outcomes, but to how those outcomes are achieved.

It means building systems that can endure, strengthening processes that support consistency, and making decisions with an awareness of their wider impact.
